The decision to cut cable is one more people are making all the time, and is one that I began considering, myself, about two years ago.

Since then, I’ve taken the plunge and haven’t looked back. Of course, I didn’t stop watching television altogether. Instead, I took control of my expenses by switching to streaming. This way, I can be sure that I’m only paying for things I truly want to watch.

“If you’re tired of paying exorbitant fees for a laundry list of channels you never watch, it’s time to cut cable and start streaming.”

All you need is a strong internet connection and a streaming device, like a Roku. Then, you can choose whatever streaming services you like, whether it’s Hulu, Netflix, or one of the many other options available. You can also pay for multiple services, depending on how often you watch TV, for a combined price that will still usually be lower than a cable bill. Many of these services offer their own, original programming, and some can even be enjoyed without commercials.

The bottom line is this: If you’re tired of paying exorbitant fees for a laundry list of channels you never watch, it’s time to cut cable and start streaming. After all, it’s the future of television.
